EN Professor and Head of the Department of Nursing at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, as well as Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Education and Practice. She is a recognized expert in the field of nursing, actively contributing to the advancement of nursing education, practice, and health policy at both national and international levels.
Professor Blaževičienė serves as an expert and member of multiple working groups on nursing issues at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. She is also an active member of leading international professional organizations, including the International Council of Nurses (ICN), the European Nursing Network Association (ENNA), and Sigma Theta Tau International.
At the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, she chairs the study committee for Nursing, Leadership in Nursing, and Advanced Nursing Practice programmes, playing a key role in shaping modern, high-quality nursing education.
Her achievements have been recognized through several prestigious honours, including a Fulbright Scholarship and the title of Fellow Ad Eundem awarded by the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).

EN Luca Bertocchi (RN, MSN, PhD) is an Italian onco‑hematologic nurse and nursing scholar with expertise in standardized nursing terminologies in clinical practice and research. He is an Adjunct Professor of Epistemology and Nursing Theories at the University of Trieste and has international clinical and academic experience across Europe and the United States. He is a Scholar of the Marjory Gordon Program at Boston College, a member of the NANDA‑I Diagnosis Development Group, and a board member of ACENDIO. His work focuses on the impact of standardized nursing languages on patient and organizational outcomes, as well as on enhancing nursing's professional visibility.
PL Luca Bertocchi (RN, MSN, PhD) jest włoskim pielęgniarzem specjalizującym się w opiece onkohematologicznej oraz naukowcem w dziedzinie pielęgniarstwa, posiadającym doświadczenie w zakresie stosowania standaryzowanych terminologii pielęgniarskich w praktyce klinicznej i badaniach naukowych. Jest adiunktem w zakresie epistemologii i teorii pielęgniarstwa na Uniwersytecie w Trieście oraz posiada międzynarodowe doświadczenie kliniczne i akademickie zdobyte w Europie i Stanach Zjednoczonych.

EN Sílvia Caldeira is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing of the Portuguese Catholic University, in Lisbon. She is an integrated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Health Research Center and serves as the director of the PhD program in Nursing.
She has supervised 14 completed doctoral theses and 30 master’s dissertations.
Her scientific output includes several book chapters, books, and articles, mainly focused on topics related to spirituality in nursing and healthcare, and in nursing terminologies and classifications.

EN Assoc. Prof. Renáta Zeleníková, RN, MSc., PhD. is a lecturer in nursing at Department of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ostrava Faculty of Medicine, Ostrawa, Czech Republic.
She has working experience as a registered nurses at Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Her recent research activities and publications are focused on evidence-based nursing, implicit rationing of nursing care, and measuring instrument standardization.
During the 2012 winter term, she was an international visiting scholar in the Department of Acute and Tertiary Care, School of Nursing University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She serves as an editor of the online peer-reviewed scientific journal Central European Journal of Nursing and Midwifery.

Posiada doświadczenie zawodowe jako pielęgniarka dyplomowana na oddziale intensywnej opieki chirurgicznej. Jej obecna działalność naukowa i publikacyjna koncentruje się na pielęgniarstwie opartym na dowodach naukowych, niejawnym racjonowaniu opieki pielęgniarskiej oraz standaryzacji narzędzi pomiarowych.
W semestrze zimowym 2012 roku przebywała jako zagraniczna badaczka wizytująca w Department of Acute and Tertiary Care w School of Nursing na Uniwersytecie Pittsburskim w Pensylwanii. Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Health Technology at the Polytechnic School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), Brazil. She is a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (PQ-C) and an active contributor to the advancement of nursing science and health technologies.
Prof. Cubas is a nurse with a PhD in Nursing from the University of São Paulo (USP). Her academic and research work focuses on the development and implementation of innovative approaches in nursing practice and health systems.
She coordinates the Nursing Process Research Network (RePPE), fostering collaboration and research aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of nursing care.

Profesor nauk medycznych i nauk o zdrowiu, prorektor ds. studenckich Gdańskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego oraz kierownik Zakładu Zarządzania w Pielęgniarstwie. W latach 2004–2006 była prodziekanem Wydziału Lekarskiego GUMed, a w latach 2006–2012 i 2016–2024 – prodziekanem Wydziału Nauk o Zdrowiu.
Ukończyła pielęgniarstwo na Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Poznaniu w 1995 r. oraz studia podyplomowe z zarządzania szpitalem i biostatystyki na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim, pedagogiki na Uniwersytecie Gdańskim, a także liczne kursy i szkolenia podyplomowe. Doktorat w dziedzinie nauk medycznych uzyskała w 2003 r., habilitację w dziedzinie nauk o zdrowiu w 2014 r., a tytuł profesora nauk medycznych i nauk o zdrowiu w 2023 r.
Była stypendystką Unii Europejskiej i projektu HOPE w zakresie zarządzania ochroną zdrowia w Szwecji, Anglii, Niemczech i na Węgrzech oraz odbywała staże w USA, Holandii i Niemczech. Reprezentowała polskie pielęgniarstwo w International Council of Nurses (ICN), European Forum of National Nursing and Midwifery Associations and WHO (EFNNMA/WHO) oraz Workgroup of European Nurse Researchers (WENR).
Pełniła funkcje wiceprezesa Polskiego Towarzystwa Pielęgniarskiego, przewodniczącej jego Rady Naukowej, konsultanta wojewódzkiego w dziedzinie pielęgniarstwa oraz wiceprzewodniczącej Krajowej Rady Akredytacyjnej Szkół Pielęgniarek i Położnych. Wielokrotnie uczestniczyła w powoływanych przez Ministra Zdrowia zespołach eksperckich, m.in. opracowujących standardy kształcenia. Jest inicjatorką i współtwórczynią wprowadzenia w Polsce uprawnień pielęgniarek i położnych do wystawiania recept oraz terminologii ICNP.
Jest autorką i współautorką ponad 200 artykułów, redaktorką książek oraz autorką rozdziałów w podręcznikach akademickich. Jej zainteresowania naukowe obejmują organizację pracy i wpływ środowiska zawodowego na zdrowotne i społeczne funkcjonowanie personelu medycznego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zaburzeń związanych z pracą zmianową.

Professor Aleksandra Gaworska-Krzemińska, PhD, DSc – Medical University of Gdańsk
Professor of Medical and Health Sciences, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at the Medical University of Gdańsk, and Head of the Department of Nursing Management. From 2004 to 2006, she served as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and from 2006 to 2012 and 2016 to 2024 as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
She graduated in Nursing from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 1995. She also completed postgraduate studies in Hospital Management and Biostatistics at Jagiellonian University, Pedagogy at the University of Gdańsk, and numerous postgraduate courses and training programmes. She earned her PhD in Medical Sciences in 2003, her habilitation in Health Sciences in 2014, and the title of Professor of Medical and Health Sciences in 2023.
She received European Union and HOPE Project fellowships in healthcare management in Sweden, England, Germany, and Hungary, and completed professional placements in the United States, the Netherlands, and Germany. She represented Polish nursing within the International Council of Nurses (ICN), the European Forum of National Nursing and Midwifery Associations and WHO (EFNNMA/WHO), and the Workgroup of European Nurse Researchers (WENR).
She served as Vice-President of the Polish Nurses Association, Chair of its Scientific Council, Regional Consultant in Nursing, and Vice-Chair of the National Accreditation Council for Schools of Nursing and Midwifery. She has repeatedly participated in expert groups appointed by the Minister of Health, including teams responsible for developing educational standards. She initiated and co-created the introduction in Poland of prescribing rights for nurses and midwives, as well as the implementation of ICNP terminology.
She is the author and co-author of more than 200 articles, the editor of books, and the author of chapters in academic textbooks. Her research interests include work organization and the impact of the working environment on the health and social functioning of healthcare professionals, with particular emphasis on disorders associated with shift work.

PL Prof. dr hab. n. o zdrowiu Dorota Kilańska jest pielęgniarką i specjalistką w zakresie pielęgniarstwa zdrowia publicznego, polityki zdrowotnej, evidence-based medicine (EBM) oraz standaryzacji dokumentacji medycznej. Jako profesor Gdańskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego i Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Łodzi rozwija koordynowaną opiekę zdrowotną, informatykę pielęgniarską oraz wdrażanie międzynarodowych standardów kształcenia pielęgniarek.
Przez sześć lat, jako pierwsza pielęgniarka w historii tej instytucji, była członkinią Rady Przejrzystości AOTMiT, uczestnicząc w ocenie technologii medycznych, taryfikacji świadczeń i wykorzystywaniu wyników badań oraz EBM w organizacji opieki. Jest ekspertką Ministerstwa Zdrowia i uczestniczką misji eksperckich WHO oraz Komisji Europejskiej (TAIEX), dotyczących dostosowania kształcenia pielęgniarek do standardów WHO i dyrektyw UE.
Kieruje akredytowanym przez Międzynarodową Radę Pielęgniarek (ICN) Centrum Badania i Rozwoju ICNP® przy Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Łodzi. Wspiera wdrażanie ICNP® w Polsce, standaryzację terminologii pielęgniarskiej, interoperacyjność danych medycznych i cyfryzację dokumentacji klinicznej. Jest autorką i współautorką publikacji oraz podręczników z informatyki pielęgniarskiej, e-zdrowia i organizacji opieki zdrowotnej, a także pierwszej w Polsce innowacji wprowadzającej standardy terminologiczne do aplikacji dokumentującej zdarzenia medyczne.

Prof. Dorota Kilańska, PhD, DSc in Health Sciences, is a nurse and specialist in public health nursing, health policy, evidence-based medicine (EBM), and the standardization of medical documentation. As a professor at the Medical University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Łódź, she is involved in the development of coordinated healthcare, nursing informatics, and the implementation of international standards in nursing education.
For six years, she served as a member of the Transparency Council of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System (AOTMiT), becoming the first nurse in the institution’s history to participate in health technology assessment, healthcare service pricing, and the incorporation of research findings and EBM into healthcare organization. She is also an expert for the Ministry of Health and has participated in international expert missions organized by the WHO and the European Commission (TAIEX), focused on aligning nursing education systems with WHO standards and European Union directives.
Prof. Kilańska heads the ICNP® Research and Development Centre at the Medical University of Łódź, accredited by the International Council of Nurses (ICN). She supports the implementation of ICNP® in Poland, the standardization of nursing terminology, the interoperability of medical data, and the digitalization of clinical documentation. She is the author and co-author of numerous publications and textbooks on nursing informatics, e-health, and healthcare organization, as well as the creator of Poland’s first innovation introducing terminology standards into an application used to document medical events.
Her research interests include healthcare quality assessment, advanced nursing practice (APN), clinical data interoperability, and the use of standardized nursing terminology in clinical practice, education, and research.

Od 2002 roku związana z Warszawskim Uniwersytetem Medycznym. Od 2013 roku kieruje Zakładem Edukacji i Badań w Naukach o Zdrowiu Wydziału Nauk o Zdrowiu. Pełniła funkcję Dziekana Wydziału Nauk o Zdrowiu oraz Prodziekana ds. Zdrowia Publicznego.
Kierowała licznymi krajowymi i międzynarodowymi projektami dydaktycznymi i badawczymi. Prowadzi zajęcia dydaktyczne z metodologii badań naukowych w obszarze nauk o zdrowiu. W ostatnich latach aktywnie uczestniczy w międzynarodowych szkoleniach z zakresu sztucznej inteligencji, w szczególności GenAI, co zaowocowało włączeniem treści związanych z GenAI do treści nauczania. Prowadzi badania nad zastosowaniem dużych modeli językowych (LLM) w naukach o zdrowiu: w edukacji zdrowotnej, rozwój kompetencji studentów oraz innowacyjne metody nauczania w naukach o zdrowiu.
Autorka wielu publikacji, w tym m.in. na temat możliwości wykorzystania ChatGPT w edukacji zdrowotnej. Obecnie kieruje projektem realizowanym w ramach Erasmus+: AIMS - Artificial Intelligence for Medical Students.

Professor Joanna Gotlib-Małkowska, PhD, DSc in Medical and Health Sciences
She has been affiliated with the Medical University of Warsaw since 2002. Since 2013, she has headed the Department of Education and Research in Health Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences. She has also served as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Vice-Dean for Public Health.
She has led numerous national and international teaching and research projects. She teaches research methodology in the field of health sciences. In recent years, she has actively participated in international training programmes on artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI, which has resulted in the integration of GenAI-related content into the curriculum.
Her research focuses on the application of large language models (LLMs) in health sciences, including health education, the development of students’ competencies, and innovative teaching methods. She is the author of numerous publications, including studies on the potential use of ChatGPT in health education.
She currently leads the Erasmus+ project AIMS – Artificial Intelligence for Medical Students.

PL Dr hab. n. o zdr. Mariola Głowacka, prof. ucz., pełni funkcję Prorektora ds. Collegium Medicum Akademii Mazowieckiej w Płocku. Jest profesorem Akademii Mazowieckiej w Płocku oraz Collegium Medicum im. Ludwika Rydygiera w Bydgoszczy, działającego w strukturach Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu.
Przez trzy kadencje była przewodniczącą Krajowej Rady Akredytacyjnej Szkół Pielęgniarek i Położnych. Jest członkiem Polskiej Komisji Akredytacyjnej oraz przewodniczącą Komisji Kształcenia przy Naczelnej Radzie Pielęgniarek i Położnych. Jako nauczyciel akademicki i pielęgniarka posiada specjalizację w dziedzinie pielęgniarstwa geriatrycznego oraz organizacji i zarządzania. Uczestniczy w pracach licznych zespołów eksperckich zajmujących się kształceniem przeddyplomowym i podyplomowym, a także rozwojem zawodów pielęgniarki i położnej.

EN Mariola Głowacka, PhD, DSc in Health Sciences, Associate Professor, serves as Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum at the Mazovian Academy in Płock. She is a professor at the Mazovian Academy in Płock and at the Ludwik Rydygier Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
For three terms, she served as Chair of the National Accreditation Council for Schools of Nursing and Midwifery. She is a member of the Polish Accreditation Committee and Chair of the Education Committee at the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives. She is an academic teacher and a registered nurse specialising in geriatric nursing as well as organisation and management. She has participated in numerous expert teams focusing on undergraduate and postgraduate education and on the development of the nursing and midwifery professions.
Her research interests include the quality and standardisation of education in Poland, Europe and worldwide; the clinical and functional aspects of patient care, particularly in geriatrics and geriatric nursing; and modern systemic solutions that make use of professional competencies through the substitution of services.

EN Aleksandra Gutysz-Wojnicka, PhD, DSc in Health Sciences, Professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury, holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and is a specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care nursing. She is employed at the Department of Nursing, School of Public Health, Collegium Medicum, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
She graduated in 1994 from the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences at the Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań, now the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. She gained professional experience working as an anaesthesia nurse in hospitals and while participating in a United Nations mission in northern Iraq. Since 2003, she has worked as an academic teacher in the Department of Nursing at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. She currently serves as Head of the Department of Nursing at the Collegium Medicum of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
As a long-standing academic teacher, she provides theoretical and practical education to undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She also lectures in various forms of postgraduate education for nurses in the fields of anaesthesiology and intensive care nursing, pain management and therapeutic education, and multicultural nursing.
Her research interests focus on the safety and quality of nursing care, pain management, multicultural nursing, and the standardisation of nursing terminology, including nursing diagnoses. She is the co-author of numerous publications and research papers in these fields. She has completed teaching and research placements in Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany.
She currently serves as First Vice-President of the Polish Association of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Nurses during its seventh term and as the Association’s delegate to the European federation of Critical Care Nurses associations (EfCCNa). She is also a member of the Polish Association for the Study of Pain and the Polish Association for Spiritual Care in Medicine. From 2016 to 2020, she was a member of the Committee for Science, Education and Professional Development at the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives in Warsaw and of the Regional Council of Nurses and Midwives for the Warmia and Mazury region in Olsztyn.

PL Prof. dr hab. Beata Dobrowolska – Dziekan Szkoły Doktorskiej Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Lublinie, Kierownik Katedry Zintegrowanej Opieki Pielęgniarskiej na Wydziale Nauk o Zdrowiu UM w Lublinie. Absolwentka Akademii Medycznej w Lublinie oraz UMCS. Stopień doktora nauk humanistycznych uzyskała w 2006 r., stopień doktora habilitowanego nauk o zdrowiu w 2018, zaś tytuł profesora w 2024 roku. Specjalistka w zakresie edukacji zdrowotnej i promocji zdrowia. Absolwentka Szkoły Praw Człowieka Helsińskiej Fundacji Praw Człowieka w Warszawie.
Posiada wieloletnie doświadczenie dydaktyczne, mentorskie i organizacyjne, obejmujące kształcenie studentów oraz doktorantów w Polsce i w Europie. Od 2020 roku realizuje zajęcia na Uniwersytecie Novo mesto, w Słowenii, zaś w marcu 2026 roku została profesorem wizytującym w South East Technological University (SETU), w Waterford w Irlandii.
Kieruje projektami krajowymi i międzynarodowymi (m.in. Erasmus+, NAWA, MNiSW, czy UE4Health), ukierunkowanymi na rozwój kompetencji, mobilność oraz odporność systemów edukacji i ochrony zdrowia. Posiada doświadczenie w budowaniu partnerstw międzynarodowych oraz współpracy międzyinstytucjonalnej, istotnej dla reprezentowania interesów środowiska akademickiego na poziomie krajowym i europejskim.
Aktywnie uczestniczy w pracach gremiów eksperckich i towarzystw naukowych, w tym m.in. w międzynarodowej sieci UDINE Career Project (Understanding Development Issues for Nurse Educator Careers), która zrzesza członków z ponad 15 państw Europejskich oraz USA; czy jako ekspert w dziedzinie pielęgniarstwa przy Naczelnej Radzie Pielęgniarek i Położnych. Posiada również znaczące doświadczenie w działalności redakcyjnej – jako redaktor naczelna czasopisma Nursing in the 21st Century oraz członek rad programowych międzynarodowych czasopism naukowych współtworzy standardy jakości publikacji i rozwoju nauki w obszarze nauk o zdrowiu.
Jest autorką ponad 300 publikacji a Jej badania koncentrują się na zagadnieniach dotyczących etyki w zawodach medycznych oraz skoncentrowanej na pacjencie edukacji dyplomowej i podyplomowej personelu medycznego oraz promocji zdrowia i edukacji zdrowotnej. Wielokrotnie nagradzana przez Rektora Uniwersytetu Medycznego za osiągnięcia naukowe, dydaktyczne i organizacyjne.
EN Professor Beata Dobrowolska, PhD, DSc, is Dean of the Doctoral School at the Medical University of Lublin and Head of the Department of Integrated Nursing Care at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University of Lublin. She graduated from the Medical University of Lublin and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. She obtained a PhD in the Humanities in 2006, a postdoctoral degree in Health Sciences in 2018, and the academic title of Professor in 2024. She is a specialist in health education and health promotion and a graduate of the Human Rights School of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw.
She has extensive teaching, mentoring and organisational experience, including the education of undergraduate and doctoral students in Poland and across Europe. Since 2020, she has taught at the University of Novo Mesto in Slovenia, and in March 2026 she was appointed Visiting Professor at South East Technological University in Waterford, Ireland.
She leads national and international projects funded through programmes such as Erasmus+, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and EU4Health. These projects focus on competency development, mobility, and strengthening the resilience of education and healthcare systems. She has considerable experience in establishing international partnerships and fostering inter-institutional cooperation, which is essential for representing the interests of the academic community at both national and European levels.
She actively contributes to the work of expert bodies and scientific societies. These include the international UDINE Career Project network, Understanding Development Issues for Nurse Educator Careers, which brings together members from more than 15 European countries and the United States. She also serves as a nursing expert for the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives. Her extensive editorial experience includes serving as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Nursing in the 21st Century and as a member of the editorial and advisory boards of international scientific journals. Through these roles, she contributes to the development of quality standards for academic publishing and the advancement of research in the health sciences.
She is the author of more than 300 publications. Her research focuses on ethics in the healthcare professions, patient-centred undergraduate and postgraduate education for healthcare professionals, health promotion, and health education. She has received numerous awards from the Rector of the Medical University of Lublin for her scientific, teaching, and organisational achievements.
